Senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party and urban body election co-ordination committee’s State organiser Umashankar Gupta released BJP manifesto for Bhopal civic body polls at BJP headquarters, Pt Deendayal Parisar in the State capital on Monday.
State Minister Vishwas Sarang, party State Vice President Alok Sharma, Seema Singh Jadaun, State General Secretary and MP Kavita Patidar, MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Krishna Gaur, Mayor post party candidate Malti Rai, State Secretary Rahul Kothari, District President Sumit Pachauri, State Spokesperson Durvesh Keshwani, Vikas Bondriya and Krishna Mohan Soni were also present on the occasion.
Umashankar Gupta speaking on the occasion said that BJP ‘Sankalp Patra’
comprises heritage and development both under which Raja Bhoj museum will be established, Rani Kamalapati Mahal will be renovated and construction of Bharat Mata Mandir will be done on priority.
Gupta said that Gau Vishramghat and Gaushalas construction in Bhopal, steel cable stay bridge from Lower Lake to Khatlapur, personal water tap connection in place of bulk water tap connection etc work will be done.
Gupta also informed that old Nav Bahar Mandi vegetable market will be made advanced and systematic for fruit and vegetable selling and the main markets will also be modernised. Bhopal will be made water plus city, Transport Nagar, Kokta, advanced bus depot in Bagh Sewaniya. He said that number of CNG buses will be increased. Umashankar Gupta said that BJP ‘Sankalp Patra’ is committed to provide maximum benefit of different beneficiary oriented schemes of State Government to all citizens living under the jurisdiction of urban areas of Bhopal.
The Sankalp Patra of BJP will also comprise solar plant installation at all the buildings of municipal corporation to reduce power consumption and if private building owners install solar system on roof of their buildings then such building owners will be given rebate in property tax. Hawker’s corner/choupati will be developed in the city according to requirement and Dussehra grounds will be developed and upgraded accordingly.
Identified wards will be made zero waste wards and it will be implemented phase-wise in other wards too.
