Divisional Rail Manager Jabalpur, Sanjay Biswas inaugurated the sale counter of handicraft materials at Jabalpur Railway Station under the head of ‘One Station – One Product’ rail scheme, on Monday.
The stall is being put-up by Asmita Chourasia, a registered jute bag manufacturer with Sant Ravidas Madhya Pradesh Handicraft and Handloom Development Corporation, Bhopal.
On the occasion, ADRM, Deepak Kumar Gupta, Senior DCM, Vishwa Ranjan, DCM, Sunil Shrivastava, Devesh Soni, Senior Divisional Financial Manager, Abhiram Khare visited the stall and checked-out the quality of jute bags and other products. Under the head of One Station – One product, the stall will be allotted for a product for 15-days.
Handmade jute bag stall become a centre of attraction for the passengers. Similarly, a stall of products made with areca nuts (Supari) at Rewa railway station and bamboo products stall at Piparia station.
