RAIPUR,
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who took oath as the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister respectively, on Wednesday.
Talking to media persons at Swami Vivekananda Airport Raipur on Wednesday before leaving for Ranchi, Baghel said, “The change of power in Bihar indicates a sign of change of Government at the centre in 2024. This change also shows the trust of the allies of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) losing their faith in the BJP.” Chief Minister Baghel said, “Every person in Bihar has a better political acumen. Politics is in the atmosphere of Bihar. Nitish Kumar is becoming the Chief Minister for the eighth time. I congratulate Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Ji and the constituents of the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) too.” “At first, the NDA’s strongest ally- Akali Dal left the NDA. Then Shiv Sena left the NDA in Maharashtra. Now JDU has also distanced itself from NDA. Now the distrust in NDA has increased. The allies of the NDA are leaving one by one is an indication of change in 2024,” he added.
Asked on the change of BJP State President in Chhattisgarh, Baghel said, “All is not well in the BJP Chhattisgarh unit. Such changes are taking place to suppress the internal conflict in the BJP. A lot of changes will be seen now. The factionalism will emerge more and more. Now the BJP will do many experiments in the state for political gains.” RJD CG CONDEMNS COMMENTS AGAINST NITISH:Janta Dal United (JDU) Chhattisgarh State President Matamani Tiwari has condemned the comments of RCP Singh, former national president of JDU, against Nitish Kumar. Matamani Tiwari said JDU is a party with zero tolerance policy and follow the ideals of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his image is clean. They take pride on having an honest leader. Matamani Tiwari said there are some leaders that occasionally come to the party, but don’t last long. RCP Singh is one such example. RCP Singh was given showcause notice to seek his reply as to how he accumulated so much wealth. But, RCP Singh made counter accusation on Nitish Kumar instead of giving reply to the notice. JDU gave RCP Singh a lot in short time, but he deceived the party. He is miffed after losing the Cabinet Minister post.
