Singhdeo cautions people against Monkey-pox, Covid-19, Swine flu

Public Health and Family Welfare Department Minister T S Singhdeo has appealed to the people of the State to be careful and aware of various diseases like Monkey-pox, Covid-19 and Swine flu during the rainy season.
Singhdeo said that due to the continuous seasonal changes in the rainy season, there are many types of communicable diseases. One needs to avoid this. Necessary instructions have been issued by the Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Chhattisgarh to all Medical College Hospitals, Chief Medical and Health Officers and Civil Surgeons in this regard. All districts have also been alerted for it, he added.
Singhdeo has appealed to the people of State to use masks in crowded places, follow Covid appropriate behaviour and clean hands on priority. Swine flu also affects the lungs like corona. The Health Minister informed that in Sukma district, the preliminary test of water of the villages affected by kidney diseases has found excess of iron and fluoride. A sample lab has been sent to test other heavy elements in the water and the report of which is expected in three days. The Sukma district administration has been alerted in this regard and instructions have been given to provide relief to the affected people, Singhdeo added.
