CHIEF Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday attended the camp organised under Mor Mahapaur Mor Dwar programme at Netaji Subhash Stadium in Maulana Abdul Rauf Ward. CM Baghel sanctioned development projects worth Rs 10 crore on the demands of citizens and called the programme a successful effort to provide services to the people. At the programme, CM Baghel termed the programme effective and successful in providing benefits of government schemes and programmes to the people. CM feted officials/employees of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) and other government departments for their remarkable services. Baghel also announced to give 25 per cent of the regularisation money for unauthorized structure to the civic bodies. Speaking to the people, CM Baghel said citizens no longer need to frequent the offices for documents like income certificate, caste certificates, and domicile or marriage registration certificates as the government is running home delivery of these documents under Mitan Yojana. Citizens are getting 13 services right at their doorsteps. He generously showered praise on the programme to sort out the public issues on the spot. He also talked to beneficiaries of various government schemes and appreciated the women SHG manufacturing paint with Godhan. On the occasion, RMC Mayor Aijaz Dhebar, MLA Raipur North Kuldeep Juneja, Khadi Gramodyog Board Chairman Rajendra Tiwari, Mayor-inCouncil member Gyanesh Sharma, Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, RMC Commissioner Mayank Chaturvedi and other officials were present in large numbers. Chief Minister Baghel said the city relied on tankers for water supply a few years back. They have fixed the system and made the Capital tanker-free. A new water filtration plant worth Rs 104 crore has started at Birgaon Municipal Corporation recently. The city also bagged over 60 national awards and wished luck for achieving number-1 spot on Swacchta Survekshan ranking. He also talked about Dhanwantari Yojana, Dr Khubchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayta Yojana and Mukhyamantri Visesh Sahayta Yojana for serious diseases. At the programme, Mayor Aijaz Dhebar said over 10000 applications were submitted alone for opening Swami Atmanand Schools. This scheme of CM Baghel is so popular that every person and public representative wants a Swami Atmanand School in his or her ward. The next camps will be organised at Sant Ravi Das Ward No-70’s Corporator office from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on August 5, Friday. It will be the 35th day of the programme.
