The Synod of the Church of North India, through a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanded a high-level probe in misappropriation of funds amounting to more than Rs 1,000 crore and alienation of Trust properties of CNI Origin UCNI through the ED and CBI.
The etter also stated that in a meeting of the CNI Origin UCNI Church Union Founder Mission’s Trustees, held on July 9, 2022 at Clara Bruce Girls’ School, unanimously passed the resolution to suspend Rt Rev P C Singh, Bishop of Jabalpur for his illegal activities and for to safe guard the religious work and properties of CBI origin UCNI.
Through the letter, Moderator, CNI Trust Association and CNI Origin UCNI Church Union Founder Mission Trustee, Dr DG Bhambal informed that the meeting of the Synod Council (General Body Meeting) of Church of North India Trust Association was held on July 31, 2022 at Clara Bruce Girls’ School Prayer Hall and on the recommendations of CNI origin UCNI Church Union Founder Mission Trusts, it was unanimously resolved that Rt Rev P C Singh Bishop of Jabalpur Diocese, functioning illegally as Moderator, Synod of Church of North India, be suspended and hereby authorised Dr D G Bhambal, Moderator Synod Church of India Trust Association (MC) (MS) to issue him suspension letter on behalf of the Synod Church of North India (Church of North India Trust Association).
The letter also alleged that Rt Rev Dr P C Singh, so-called Moderator and his sub-ordinates, have connection with a gangster and executed false and fabricated transfer deed of properties of CNI origin UCNI also, violated FCRA rules and misappropriated more than Rs 1000 rupees, which is invested abroad.
Moderator, Dr G D Bhambal has requested the PMO to enquire the misappropriation of more than Rs 1000 crore and alienation of Trust Properties of CNI origin UCNI through ED and CBI.
