‘World seeks direction from India in establishing peace everywhere’

“When the other countries were was in stone era, India had everything. India was a well-developed country then. But with changing time, India started lagging. Now, India has re-emerged as a strong nation. The world, today, is looking at India as a global leader and a guide to restore peace across the globe. I must appreciate Brahmakumaris who are playing a major role in spreading the message of peace and global harmony,” said Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister. He was speaking during inauguration of the Golden Jubilee festival of Vidarbha Unit of Brahmakumaris at Vishwa Shanti Sarovar, Jamtha on Thursday. Brahmakumaris started its unit in Vidarbha in 1972.
Banwarilal Purohit, Governor of Punjab and the Administrator of Chandigarh; Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLC and State President of Bharatiya Janata Party; Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis; Ajay Sancheti, ex-Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha); Mohan Mate, South Nagpur MLA; Vijay Darda, former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Brahmakumari Sita Didi, Amravati, Rajyogi Brahmakumar Mrityunjaybhai, Working Secretary, Brahmakumaris and Chairperson, Education section, Mount Abu; Rajyogi Dr Pratap Middhdha, Medical Director, Global Hospital, Mount Abu; Rajyogi Nikunjbhai, National Co-ordinator, Brahmakumaris Media, Mumbai; Rajyogini Brahmakumari Shiludidi, Vice-Chairperson, Education section, Mount Abu; Rajyogini Santoshdidi, Joint Chief Administrator, Zonal in-charge, Maharashtra, Andhra, Telangana; Kirit Bhansali, Treasurer, BJP; were the prominent among those present on the dais.
“We clean the body but not the mind which has lots of dirt, due to which our face looks pale. Mind is cleaned by cleaning thoughts. Brahmakumaris help us in cleaning our thoughts. Whatever we do for people like you is like service to society. To earn peace, we need to choose right path and Brahmakumaris lead us to the path. Unless the light of
knowledge ward off the darkness of ignorance, we will never grow. When we enter in the places like Brahmakumaris, we learn such things,” added Fadnavis.
“The preaching of Brahmakumaris have purity. Brahmakumaris are establishing peace in the world. It is their work of spreading peace because of which we all have dreamt to see India as Vishwaguru. I am confident that dream will be fulfilled,” stated Banwarilal Purohit.
“Mahatma Gandhi taught us to lead life with the moto, Simple Living and High Thinking. If we follow Gandhiji’s teachings, we will be able to remove corruption completely. We are living in Kaliyug, but Brahmakumaris have created an atmosphere that has serenity. We have to strengthen our culture. Every home must have spiritual books like Bhagwat Geeta, Ramayana, Mahabharat and Vedas. Spirituality will make our country a global leader. Fortunately, we have Brahmakumaris who are helping us to imbibe spirituality in us,” added Banwarilal Purohit.
Amruta Fadnavis rendered a spiritual song on request by Brahmakumaris which was appreciated by one and all.
Purohit admired her rendition in his speech.Vijay Darda, Ajay Sancheti also spoke on the occasion. On the appeal of Brahmakumari Rajani Didi, at Nagpur, thousands of Rajyogi teachers had visited Jamtha’s Vishwashanti Sarovar. Brahmakumari Shivika compered the programme.
