Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has assured the youth of Madhya Pradesh that two lakh youths will be given self-employment every month. The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after dedicating 26 industrial structures and performing bhoomipujan at Budhni in Sehore district on Thursday. Chief Minister Chouhan distributed cheque and letters of approval of self-employment scheme to the beneficiaries. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Omprakash Saklecha, Sehore District Incharge and Public Health and Family Welfare Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Choudhary, MP Ramakant Bhargava and public representatives were present.
Chouhan said that youth will be given one lakh Government jobs in the coming one year. Along with this, employment and self-employment will also be made available in various schemes of the government. He informed that in the last 8 months only 25 lakh youths have been linked with self-employment. Chief Minister said that technical and skilled youth should come forward to set up industries. The Chief Minister exhorted the youth to start their own enterprise with up to Rs 50 lakhs for which Madhya Pradesh government will give loan guarantee. In addition, 3 per cent interest subsidy will also be given. Referring to the concept of cluster based industries, Chief Minister Chouhan said that a large number of production and employment has to be created at one place from the cluster of many entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister interacted with the cluster developers of Burhanpur, Indore, Bhopal and Neemuch and inquired about their products and employment provided by them. He expressed his gratitude to all the developers and wished them good luck in starting the new work. Referring to Madhya Pradesh becoming Cheetah State recently, Chief Minister Chouhan said that we are already a Tiger and Leopard State.He said that employment opportunities would be created on a large scale in the tourism sector in the State. Referring to the activities of Aajeevika Mission with the cluster, Chouhan exhorted the citizens to buy local products instead of other products of the world including China. He said that the toys of Toy Cluster started at Budhni at a cost of Rs 20 crore would create a boom in the world. Cluster industry-based examples will be made in all other districts including medicine in Bhopal, textile in Burhanpur, furniture in Indore.
