CITY karatekas of Vidarbha Karate Association and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University Karate Centre excelled in International Karate Competition that recently concluded in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Philippines and Australia participated in the tournament. Twenty-five students of Nagpur won 13 gold, 18 silver and 9 bronze medals.
Apart from the players, President of Vidarbha Karate Association Vijay Ghichare and Treasurer Shubham Lakhekar also participated. Ghichare won a silver while Lakhekar bagged a gold.
