NAV Jaihind Krida Mandal, Yavatmal girls and Vidarbha Youth Krida mandal, Katol boys emerged champions of the kho-kho tournament organised under Khasdar Krida Mahotsav Season 5.

In the women’s final, Yavatmal defeated Vidarbha Krida Mandal, Katol (13-9) by four points to wrest the title.

Priti Thakarge played well for the winners. In the boys section, Vidarbha Youth Krida Mandal, Katol beat Vidarbha Krida Mandal (9-3) by six points. Raizan Pathan was the architect of their title win.

Former international kho-kho player Narendra Shah and former Mayor Sandip Joshi were the guests of the prize distribution function.

Suhas Pande, Sudhir Nimbalkar, Ravindra Fadnavis, Dr Piyush Ambulkar, Dr Padmakar Charmode, Ashfaque Sheikh, Prakash Chandrayan and others were present.
