Hundreds of vehicles were stranded for hours on both sides of Urdana Nala, bridge-cum-culvert due to sinking of culvert on road leading from Suhagi to Adhartal. Huge traffic jam occurred on the route.

It is learnt that repair work was being done on the old culvert-cum-bridge. During the same, a big portion of land slided. Since thousands of people travel on the route to and fro Panagar since early morning, nearly a kilometer-long jam occurred on the road. Got troubled by the situation, people called local public representatives and authorities concerned. Later, public representatives had a discussion with the Vice-Chancellor of JNAU, who directed for opening of gate number 1 of the University for traffic movement. Then only people got relief from the jam and gradually the situation became normal. Administration has started investigation into landslide matter and construction work near the culvert to find out the reasons behind the happening. The culvert, known as Urdna Nala is the sole route which connects a number of villages including Suhagi, Maharajpur, Panagar, Richhai with Adhartal Jabalpur.
