With the aim of change in Madhya Pradesh in the New Year, the Congressmen, on Sunday took out Sankalp Yatra and created public awareness opposing the principles and policies of the arch rival BJP Government.
A number of Congress leaders and workers participated in the Yatra, which started from Kamania gate and culminated at Town Hall. The Congressmen garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and paid tributes. Thereafter a meeting was organised.
Addressing the meeting, Congress leaders said the elected government of the Congress was toppled in Madhya Pradesh, but those who fell it have forgotten that the people had given the mandate to the Congress and they have not forgotten it. Therefore, the year 2023 is the year of change and once again the Congressmen are united to form the Congress Government in Madhya Pradesh. Speaking further MLA Lakhan Ghanghoria, Vinay Saxena, Tarun Bhanot, President, City Congress Jagat Bahadur Singh and others alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party is spoiling the atmosphere of the country by doing horse-trading and pressure politics. They said the Congress will not tolerate it at all. Congress leaders said people of the State have now understood the intentions of the State Government and are ready to teach a lesson to the BJP. The Congressmen have also geared up to root out BJP Government, they added.
