The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur witnessed a momentous event as they inaugurated the prestigious ATAL AICTE sponsored one week Faculty Development Programme on ‘Recent Trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)’ which focuses on various aspects of recent development in new technology. The programme which commenced on October 9, 2023, drew attention from academicians and industry experts. The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the chief guest Dr Arvind Kumar, Centre Head at TCS, Nagpur.

 

Dr S A Dhale, Principal of Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur and Dr V M Nanoti, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur also played pivotal roles in the events inauguration. They highlighted the institutions commitment to fostering excellence in the realm of AI and ML. Dr G M Asutkar, Coordinator of the Faculty Development Programme, Vice-Principal of Priyadarshini College of Engineering and the Head of the AI and Data Science Department shared his vision for the programme and its potential to empower educators and professionals.

The events coordinator, Dr S S Golait and the presence of Dr M P Singh, Dean of Planning and Development at LTJSS added further prestige to the ceremony. Prof Priyanka Gupta anchored the event.
