Hundreds of mourners which included industrialists, representatives of commerce, and trade poured into Mokshdham Ghat on Saturday afternoon to bid a tearful adieu to veteran industrialist Hargovind Bajaj, who passed away on Friday at age 96. At the Mokshdham Ghat the atmosphere was sad and silent as many could not fathom the loss of this highly successful industrialist of Nagpur. Atul Pande, former President of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA), had a long association with Hargovindji and the Bajaj family spaning over 60 years. Describing the life of the iconic industrialist, Pande said, “Throughout his life, Hargovindji was outspoken and motivated the industrial fraternity of Vidarbha to work with extremely high ethics and professional manner. He had a dream that the epic industrial body VIA should reach out to all 11 districts of Vidarbha and provide knowledge across all the sectors and industries.”
