Senior Congress leader of Lahar Assembly of Bhind district, Dr Vinod Tiwari took membership of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in the presence of party’s State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma and State General Secretary Bhagwandas Sabnani at the BJP state office on Saturday. Both senior leaders welcomed him by wearing Party’s saffron scarf. After taking membership Dr Tiwari said he impressed by the customs and policies of Bharatiya Janata Party so he took decision. Dr Vinod Tiwari, resident of Lahar Assembly constituency of Bhind district, has been an active member of the Congress Party since 1978. Apart from holding various posts in Congress Seva Dal, he has also been the Senior District Vice President of Congress District Bhind. Presently he is the state president of Matribhoomi Seva Mission.
