On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, The Dharampeth Mahila Multi State Co-operative Society Limited, Nagpur has launched two schemes ‘Krishi Kanya’ and ‘Kanyaratan Deposit Yojana’. This was disclosed by Nilima Bawne, Chairperson of the Society on Saturday. Both the schemes will be available at all branches of the Society from 11 am to 2 pm. The ‘Kanyaratan Deposit Yojana’ offers deposits to doubled in 90 months for girls from 0 to 18 years. An account will have to be opened and people can start by depositing Rs 20,000. A loan of 60 per cent can be availed on the deposited amount. The ‘Krishi Kanya’ scheme is for farmers daughters inwhich the amount deposited will get double in seven years. The farmers will have to submit ‘Sath Bara’ (Form No 7 and 11) document at the time of opening the account.
