The ten-day Durga Puja Exhibition 2023 at Dinanath High School and Junior College ground at Dhantoli was recently inaugurated by Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar. Kumar praised the Bengali community for their spirited celebration of Durga Puja, emphasizing the importance of maintaining harmony and fraternity. He described Durga Puja as a festival that fosters goodwill, creating a sense of brotherhood and unity among people. Pradip Kumar Maitra, President of Bengali Association and Bengali Education Society, highlighted the event’s central objective.

 

The treasurer, Sujit Sengupta, joint secretary Ajit (Monta) Bose, CS Saha, Vice President of Bengali Association, Ranjit Roy, secretary of the association, school administrator Tripti Ghosh, Prasad Rajvaidya, coordinator of Durga Puja Exhibition and other committee members were also present.
