State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), V D Sharma, on Friday inaugurated the election office of party’s Cantt. Assembly candidate Ashok Rohani in Civil Lines. At the outset Sharma along with party leaders lighted the lamp and garlanded the portrait of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma highlighted the importance of securing a resounding victory for Ashok Rohani in Cantt. Legislative Assembly. He asked party workers to work hard for the victory of Rohani and the BJP.

 

Expressing views on the occasion, Ashok Rohani expressed gratitude to national and state party leadership for upholding faith in him by nominating him again as party’s candidate from the Assembly constituency. He pledged to uphold the party's trust and serve the people for the next five years. He urged everyone to support the BJP for a month and he promised to remain dedicated to public service throughout his tenure. Thereafter, Rohani visited Kali Mata Mandir for worship and started extensive election campaigning in Sadar area. MP Rakesh Singh, City President Prabhat Sahu and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
