The National Book Fair at St. Ursula Girls High School campus at Civil Lines in the city will conclude on October 22. The fair organised by Samay India, New Delhi is witnessing a huge rush of students, parents, teachers and other book lovers. Moreover, the exhibition also saw book lovers buying about 15,000 books in the last 10 days which proves the success of the event here in the city. The organisers and the participating book sellers have expressed great satisfaction over the sale of the books and said that the people still love reading books.

 

“It was a great feeling to see books in the hands of the visitors and we are excited to see the booking reaching the places of the citizens,” said Chandra Bhushan, Managing Trustee, Samay India. There are more than 100 book stalls at the exhibition showcasing a wide range of books on diverse subjects. In addition to this, renowned publication houses are participating in the fair. The organisers have been conducting various event at the spot for school students during the fair. Timings are from 12 noon till 9.30 pm.
