The Congress party has on Sunday evening released its third list of remaining seven candidates for the upcoming Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly elections. In the third list, the Congress party has given tickets to two sitting MLAs-Kuldeep Juneja from Raipur City North seat and Ambica Singhdeo from Baikunthpur seat. In this way, the Congress party has denied tickets to 20 sitting MLAs in the Assembly polls-2023. Ambika Markam has been given ticket from Sihawa (ST) seat in place of sitting MLA Dr Lakshmi Dhruw.
 
Congress party has fielded Chaturi Nand from Saraipali (SC) seat in place of sitting MLA Kismat Lal Nand. Dr Rashmi Chandrakar has been fielded from Mahasamund seat in place of sitting MLA Vinod Chandrakar. Omkar Sahu has been fielded from Dhamtari seat. Chairman of Chhattisgarh Telghani Board Sandeep Sahu has been fielded from Kasdol seat in place of sitting Kasdol MLA Shakuntala Sahu. In the third list, the Congress dropped the four sitting MLAs- namely Sihawa MLA Dr Lakshmi Dhruw, Saraipali MLA Kismat Lal Nand, Mahasamund MLA Vinod Chandrakar and Kasdol MLA Shakuntala Sahu. In the third list, the Congress has given tickets to the five new faces. The Congress has declared its candidates for all 90 seats. The Congress party declared its 30 candidates in the first list and 53 candidates were declared in the second list.
