RIDING on hat-trick from Lavanya Kharabe and Sonakshi Chopade’s brace, Centre Point School, Dabha drubbed St Vincent Pallotti School, Ring Road to set a final date with St Ursula Girls High School in the YMCA Under-16 Inter-School Football Tournament for boys and girls. In the semi-final played at Rural Police Headquarters ground in Suyog Nagar on Tuesday, Lavanya (1st, 4th, 25th), Sonakshi (7th, 20th) and Adhya Dwivedi (18th) found the target to record a thumping 6-0 win over St Vincent who could not score any.

The other semis between St Ursula and Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar was decided via tie-breaker. Both the teams failed to find the target in the stipulated time and the full time score read 0-0. The tie-breaker, though, turned out to be one-sided affair wherein St Ursula girls converted four spot kicks to CPS’s one. For the winners, Khushi Dadmal, Vaishnavi Madavi, Mahi Yadav and Akshara Sarve scored from the spot while Gargi Belsare did that for CPS.
