Bilaspur Municipal Corporation Mayor and senior Congress leader Ramsharan Yadav has been suspended from the primary membership of Indian National Congress for indulging in anti-party activities. Ramsharan Yadav was suspended after a video went viral on social media, in which he was heard saying that assembly tickets were sold by some Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh.
 
On the order of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President Deepak Baij, Ramsharan Yadav was suspended from the Congress party. In this regard, CPCC In-charge General Secretary (Organisation and Administration) Malkit Singh Gaindu issued an order on Friday. According to the order, the Congress party was not satisfied with the reply of Ramsharan Yadav for the notice seeking explanation for making derogatory statements against the party organization and for indulging in anti-party activities.
