Distribution of election material, including EVM-VVPAT machines, to the polling teams was carried out on Thursday from the premises of Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University (JNAU). During the process, Collector Saurabh Kumar Suman and Police Superintendent Aditya Pratap Singh were also present at the distribution site. Distribution of election material was done directly to the polling teams of all the eight Assembly constituencies from the university premises. Separate distribution centres were set up for each Assembly constituency within Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University campus. The number of distribution centres matched the number of polling stations and tables were arranged accordingly for distribution of election materials. Around 800 employees were deployed for the distribution process. After distribution, polling teams departed for their respective polling stations.
 
They reached the polling centres using 251 big buses and 250 small buses. Tractors and a motorboat were also utilised for transportation, specifically for reaching remote polling stations. A total of 501 routes were designated for transportation of polling teams, including a provision of 10 per cent reserved buses, making a total arrangement of 551 buses. Each polling station will have at least five officials present, including Presiding Officers P1, P2, P3 and one police officer. Additionally, Micro observers will be present at sensitive booths to oversee the voting process and ensure its fairness.
 
As per information, a total of 2,132 polling booths have been set up in the district for elections. For the purpose, 2,132 polling teams have been formed, out of which 113 polling teams have been kept in reserve to handle situations like machine breakdown or other disruptions. About the polling centres, the highest number of such centres have been established in Panagar Assembly seat, with a total of 310 centres. On the other hand, lowest number of polling centres is in the Cantt. Assembly constituency, with a total of 214 centres. For Assembly elections, the Transport Department has also taken over buses for Jabalpur district and surrounding districts. As per the information received from the RTO, nearly 750 buses have been acquired, including school and college buses as well as commercial buses.
