WITH just seven Bezonbagh Cricket Club (BCC) players on the field, Shree Binzani Cricket Club’s opener Deepak Chaudhary hammered a triple ton in Guzder League C Division One-Day Tournament guiding the team to a massive 469 runs win on Wednesday. Playing at home ground, SB City College Cricket Academy opted to bat as BCC fielded only seven player, a minimum number required to constitute a match.
Chaudhary (329; 144b, 39x4, 19x6) made most of the opportunity hitting the top score across Guzder formats. Rajvansh Agrawal remained not out on 150 that came off 133 balls and contained 21 hits to the fence as SB City bettered Guzder League’s top score, just made a day earlier, by piling 551-3 in 50 overs. All the five bowlers used — Shubham Tamgadge (0-124), Prashik Jangam (2-92), Vipul Bhavtik (0-94), Mohammad Ayan Qureshi (0-132) and Pratik Sakhare (1-99)— gave away more than 90 runs each. In reply, BCC made 82-5 in 17.1 overs to lose the match by record margin.
