In a tragic incident, a 35-year-old dentist committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his house in Ramteke Nagar. The incident took place in Ajni police station area late Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Dr Ashish Ganpatrao Mular, a resident of Plot No 302, Kush Apartments, Ramteke Nagar. According to police, Dr Mular served at a private hospital in Hudkeshwar and was reportedly grappling with mounting debts and stress. His wife was away for delivery when he hung himself around 11 pm. Dr Yogesh Krishna Bhalerao, a friend, discovered the scene when he visited Mular’s home. He alerted the police. Staff of Ajni police rushed to the spot and discovered a suicide note citing debt as the reason for his extreme step. The police have registered a case of accidental death.
