A 20-year-old girl was killed when a two-wheeler she was riding on with her cousin, skidded on the road at New Katol Naka Square in Gittikhadan police station area. The deceased was identified as Samiksha Raju Wandile (20). Her cousin sister Janhvi Rajesh Kurmatkar (19) was injured the accident. According to police, the accident occurred at New Katol Naka Square around 10 pm when the two were passing through the square on a two-wheeler. Both riders sustained injuries and rushed to the hospital where Samiksha succumbed to the injuries. Gittikhadan police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated an investigation.
