Sihora police have succeeded in apprehending the accused of killing a man over property dispute within some hours of the incident was reported, on Sunday. The arrested has been identified as Buddhu Patel (62), a resident of Mehgavan village in Sihora. SHO of Sihora police station, Bipin Bihari Singh informed that, on November 18, a man named Vijay Mishra (36), resident of Mehgavan village lodged a complaint that he is working as farmer. On November 18 evening, he was standing near Mehgavan Tower where his old rival Buddu Patel arrived and started abusing him over the issue of possession of land. He objected for abusing when Buddhu Patel picked-up a cane and attacked him with cane and punching. In the attack, he sustained injuries on his both legs, ear and hands. The accused threatened him to life and managed to escape from the spot.
On the other hand, on November 19, Omkar Mishra, a resident of Mehgavan informed that he is working as tractor mechanic. His brother Vijay Mishra was admitted for treatment of his critical injuries in an attack at Government Hospital Sihora, on November 18. Pointing out his profuse bleeding, Vijay Mishra was referred at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital for further treatment. Condition of patient was deteriorated and Vijay Mishra succumbed to his grave injuries undergoing treatment at the hospital. Acting on the complaint of Vijay Mishra, Sihora police had registered a case under Sections 294, 323 and 506 of IPC and increased Section 302 of the IPC. Continuing a thorough search, police have succeeded in apprehending the accused Buddhu Patel while further investigations are underway.
