Seven men were injured in a group clash over petty issue in Majhgavan village under the jurisdiction of Patan police station in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Patan police informed that at around 3:15 am on Wednesday, Surendra Gond (24), resident of Majhgavan village lodged a complaint that he is owner of food stall. On November 20 at around 10 pm, he was working at his food stall where a tractor trolley of Anand Sethi was over turned when Santosh Yadav started abusing him for putting-up food stall at roadside which is hurdling the traffic movement. He objected for abusing when the miscreant abused him on the base of his caste and threatened for seeing him later. On November 21 late night, he was sitting on verandah of his house where Santosh Yadav, Satish Yadav and Chandrabhan Yadav arrived and started abusing him for putting-up stall and living in the area. He objected for abusing when miscreants attacked him. Atul Gond, Ajay Gond and Prince Gond tried to protect him when miscreants also attacked them and threatened them to life.
 
On the other hand, Satish Yadav (23), resident of Majhgavan village lodged a complaint that he is working as farmer on lease land. On November 20, tractor trolley of Santosh Yadav, resident of Majhgavan was overturned in a nullah near a farm. He along with Chandrabhan Yadav and Santosh Yadav, resident of Mada village went for pulling out the tractor trolley where Vicky alias Surendra Thakur along with Atul Thakur, Prince Thakur and Deepak Thakur arrived with iron rods and started abusing them for shouting near their house. He objected for abusing when the miscreants attacked them with iron rods. In the attack, he alogn with Santosh Yadav and Chandrabhan Yadav sustained critical injuries on their head and face. Acting on the complaint of Surendra Gond, Patan police have registered a case under Sections 294, 323, 506 and 34 of IPC and Sections 3(1)D and 3(2)(VA) of SC/ST Act while another case under Sections 294, 323, 324, 506 and 34 of IPC was registered on the complaint of Satish Yadav while further investigations are underway.
