Rainfall continues in various parts of State on Tuesday. There are chances of rain in entire State till first week of December, said IMD. Tuesday morning started with drizzling in Bhopal. Even on Monday, rainfall was continued throughout day that resulted into mercury dip down by 6.9 degrees Celsius. After mercury dip down, day temperature was recorded as 20.8 degrees Celsius which is 7 degrees below normal temperature. In the month of November, this is lowest day temperature in Bhopal in past 25 years. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhopal, said that rainfall will continue in State till December first week. IMD has predicted clear sky in many areas of city and droplets in old city and Kolar region for November 29. On November 30, there are chances of light rain on Berasia, Navibag and lightning in a few areas.

 

Apart from Bhopal, 14 districts of State are recording rainfall continuously for two days. In past 24 hours, highest rainfall has been recorded as 3.32 inch in Khargone while Indore recorded 2 inches of rain. Minimum day temperature was recorded as 17.2 degrees Celsius in Chhindwara. There is nominal difference of 2 degrees in day and night temperature of Chhindwara. Betul recorded 7.4 degrees fall in temperature and settled at 19.8 degrees Celsius while Dhar recorded 6 degrees fall and temperature settled at 19.3 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded minimum temperature as 20 degrees Celsius, Gwalior 27.2 degrees Celsius, Jabalpur 23.5 degrees Celsius and Ujjain 21.5 degrees Celsius.

IMD said that another weather system is being activated in state after November 30.

 

The department has predicted that there will be no major cold conditions till first week of December in entire State. Temperature will be declining from second week of December. IMD, Bhopal said after south-western monsoon concludes, weather get stable and sky remain clear or partial clouds. They said that generally there is no humidity on November same like month of October. Western disturbance, turf line and cyclonic winds have made the rain system strong over Madhya Pradesh.
