SHRIKRISHNA Hrudayalaya Hospital, along with Rotary Club of Nagpur Downtown, IMA Nagpur and Cardiological Society of India, Vidarbha Chapter will be organising a cyclothon on November 5. “The Cyclothon is being organised by Shrikrishna Hrudayalaya Hospital with a motto to promote a healthy lifestyle, raise awareness about environmental conservation and encourage the use of bicycles as a sustainable mode of transportation. The cyclothon will be flagged-off at 7 am from SK Sports arena, opposite Radisson Blu. The event will be conducted in three different categories which include 10km as fun ride, 25km and 40km as challenge ride,” said Dr Mahesh Fulwani during a press conference.
 
“We have received 275 entries till date. The entry fee for 10km ride is Rs 150 while for 25km it is Rs 250 and for 40km, the fees will be Rs 350. All the participants will get T shirt, e-certificate and a refreshments. The winners in men and women categories of 25km and 40km challenge ride will be awarded cash prize, medals and gift vouchers,” Dr Fulwani added.
 
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Collector Dr Vipin Itankar, NIT Chairman Manoj Suryawanshi, GMC Dean Raj Gajbhiye, MLA Mohan Mate, Dr Avinash Gawande and DCP Traffic Chetna Tidke will be guests for the event.
