THE DAY of December 13 marked the swearing-in ceremony of Vishnu Deo Sai as the fourth Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Entire State was filled with enthusiasm to extend greetings to its new leader, especially in CM’s hometown, Bagiya, situated in tribal-dominated Jashpur district. Festivities were in full swing, transforming the entire region into a festive ambiance. Fireworks illuminated the sky and traditional dances echoed through the streets as people joyfully celebrated. Significantly, Bagiya, the residence of CM Sai, comes under the Kunkuri Assembly constituency in Jashpur district.

 

The happiness surrounding his oath-taking ceremony mirrored the atmosphere of Diwali, with a spectacular display of fireworks and colourful brilliance lighting up the surroundings, reminiscent of the festival of lights. The streets resonated with the beats of drums and traditional instruments, as the locals eagerly anticipated the arrival of their new leader.The celebratory mood in Bagiya reflected the joy and excitement of people as they welcomed the Chief Minister and the atmosphere resonated with the spirit of Diwali, symbolising the dawn of a new era in Chhattisgarh’s leadership.
