Union Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday said that there is need to take concrete steps to make the country developed by 2047. In his virtual address at the inaugural function of the IIM Nagpur’s ‘Zero Mile Samvad’, he said every one will have to take part in the drive as the masses are going to decide the future of the ‘Developed India’. “It is the Government who is going to decide the future of the country. The country’s common man is expected to play this role,” he said. The inaugural address set the stage for a transformative discourse of the much-anticipated Zero Mile Samvad – a Global Thought Leadership Summit. With a focus on propelling India towards its ambitious $5 trillion economy, this flagship event promises to be a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and actionable strategies. Earlier in his welcome address, Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur, spoke about various initiatives of the IIM.
 
In his keynote speech Prof. Vivek Wadhwa, CEO of Vionix Biosciences. Prof. Wadhwa emphasized the pivotal role of bridging academia and industry for mutual growth. The fireside chat led by CP Gurnani, Chairman, IIM Nagpur and MD & CEO, Tech Mahindra, navigated the roadmap for India’s economic triumph, highlighting the intersections of business, technology, and culture.
