Captain Siddhesh Dandewar and Shubham Maurya slammed daddy hundred each as Reshimbagh Gymkhana posted mammoth 404 for six against Advocate XI Cricket Club in the ongoing Guzder A Division Tournament. The two-day match is being played at Gurunanak Pharmacy ground. Dandewar and Maurya added 245 runs for the second wicket as both scored 151 runs each against a hapless Advocate XI bowlers. Opener Dandewar was involved in another century partnership (113) for the first wicket with Kedar Jagtap who scored 46 runs.
 
While Dandewar scored his 151 from 227 deliveries which had nine boundaries and four sixes, Maurya scored identical runs in lesser balls (147). He hit nine fours and five maximums. Though Reshimbagh Gymkhana dominated the day, Advocate XI’s Sidhaant Mule’s five-wicket haul was overshadowed by the hurricane knock from Dandewar and Maurya.
 
Mule took five wickets in 22 overs and conceded 68 runs. Satyam Bhoyar took one wicket for 74 runs in 16 overs.
In another match, Yash Kadam took five wickets as Navniketan restricted Eleven Star at 149 runs from 48.3 overs. Akash Kumar was the highest run scorer for Eleven Star with 44 runs. In reply, Navniketan had taken 16 runs lead with 165 runs on the board losing two wickets. Avesh Khan scored 48. Faiz Sheikh (44) and Akshay Wadkar (55) were the unbeaten batters when the stumps were drawn.
