IN the Family Court Bar Association elections, Ram Nath Sen was elected as President, and Vasanti Rinkey as General Secretary. The elections were held on December 22 (Friday). The term of the new elected body is from 2023 to 2026. For the post of President, there was a contest between Ramnath Sen and Sham Ambhore. Sen polled 903 votes and Ambhore polled 398, of a total 1,314 votes polled. Thirteen votes were declared invalid. Kanchan Varade with 780 votes and Kumar Paunikar with 514 votes won the election to the two posts of Vice-President. The rivals Suryakant Jaiswal polled 466 votes and Rakesh Daudhariya polled 361. As many as 19 voted were declared invalid.
 
Vasanti Rinkey with 860 votes won the election to the post of General Secretary, while her rivals Kiran Chaudhari and Raju Ingle polled 172 and 224 votes respectively. The number of invalid votes was 58. For the two posts of Joint Secretary, there were four candidates. Mohd Adil with 685 votes and Nilesh Pantaone with 669 votes won the posts of Joint Secretary, defeating their rivals Arpana Jha (355 votes) and Smita Mendhe (443 votes). As many as 21 votes were declared invalid. The election to the post of Treasurer was won by Pinky Kosare, who polled 581 votes, defeating her rivals Rahul Gulhane (323 votes) and Fatima Pathan (370 votes). Total 40 votes were declared invalid. Shehla Quereshi won the election to the post of Librarian with 801 votes, defeating her rival Sanjay Taktode with 481 votes. Of total 1,314 votes polled for the post, 32 were declared invalid.
 
Nine Executive Members were to be elected. However, as only six applications were received, polling did not take place. Gautami Dhongde, Harshvardhan Golait, Aarti Jurel, Manohar Anand, Priya Rahate, Raju Shende were elected unopposed as Executive Members. The remaining three posts of Executive Members are vacant. The Chief Election Committee members included Adv Ravishankar Bhure, Adv Tarun Parmar, and Adv Nitin Deshmukh.
