Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been launched with the objective of disseminating information about the Government of India’s public welfare schemes to the masses. As part of this initiative, camps are being organised in various gram panchayats of Balod district, where information about different schemes is being provided to the people. The focus is on educating the public about schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Ayushman Card, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, KCC, and others to ensure maximum beneficiaries avail themselves of the benefits.

Since December 16, 2023, Ayushman cards have been distributed to a total of 6,216 beneficiaries in the camp. Additionally, 96 beneficiaries have received new gas connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The camp facilitated the new registration of 57 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Moreover, 143 beneficiaries were enrolled under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and 139 beneficiaries were registered under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. In line with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, installment amounts were disbursed to a total of five beneficiaries.
