Aphrase “Bloom where you are planted” is written on exit gate of St. Francis De Sales Cathedral Church in Nagpur. This small phrase actually gives you a never ending lesson to follow throughout your life. You can implement this phrase in all the scenarios that you come across in your day-to-day life. Life, a small 4 letter word has a very deep meaning. It takes an entire lifetime to completely understand the meaning of word ‘life’. We all go through different phases of life. Every phase teaches us new ways to deal with the day-to-day challenges. We evolve as a better human being with every passing day. So blooming means accepting the environment around you and perform your best. Challenges are a part of everybody’s life. Different individuals have different approaches in facing challenges. Challenges are present in everyone’s life, but this does not mean that they bring negativity. They bring out everything positive and strong inside us. Everybody wants to prove a point and strives hard to be successful in their respective life. Challenges bring in different situations. Some situations can be handled easily while some require huge amount of grit and patience. Positivity should be maintained in all the situations. One should never lose hope in any scenario. This is what blooming means.

Humans have infinite capacity to overcome all the shortcomings that we face in our lives. We must always remain self-motivated and motivate everyone around us. Our nature should always be of helping others and of making our own progress through the entire process. Toxic people and negativity are the two most harmful social evils present in this society. They have a very bad impact on like-minded and socially-helping individuals. They want to hinder the process of our blooming. These people cause negative impact on life. Doing wrong and being harmful to society is very easy. Destructive mentality leads to fatal results. So in such situations feed your mind with positive thoughts which will help in our blooming. What a good citizen or civilian should do is he or she should ensure that he or she is doing positive constructive work to nullify the effect of all the negativity that is currently present in society. Everyone should take pledge to spread peace, happiness and kindness by his or her own deeds.

All of us should try to heal rather than harm someone. This activity will make our society more happier and will lead to progress and success in life of each and every individual. To conclude, I want to say, if you bloom where you are planted, you will always feel positive. It doesn’t mean that one should not progress in life. It means use the situation and atmosphere around you in such a way that it will help in your blooming and also for the blooming of others. Try to make everyone around you happier, satisfied and self motivated. This will help in your growth (blooming) and also in the blooming of entire society, the part of which you are.
