On alert: Dgp checks TT Nagar Police station at 4 am

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Director General of Police (DGP), Sudhir Saxena inspected police stations in Bhopal late Wednesday night. The surprise inspection brought the cops to their toes. On the instructions of the Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the senior officials including Inspector Generals are visiting police stations under their jurisdiction. These officers visited over 125 police stations across the State overnight. DGP Saxena visited Bilkhiria and TT Nagar police stations in Bhopal. He also held a meeting with the officials in Bhopal police.

 

He reached the TT Nagar police station around 4 am and during his inspection in TT Nagar police station, he expressed displeasure over a large number of vehicles parked inside the campus. He instructed the officials to dispose of the vehicles, legally and soon. He also inspected the women help desk, lock-ups and CCTNS system and assessed the work pattern there. The top cop assessed the pending cases and asked the officials to strengthen the beat system for fast disposal of the cases. He asked the officials to work on rapid promotions so that the void for investigation officers is filled.
