FORMER Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and elected MLA from the Rajnandgaon constituency Dr Raman Singh, emphasised that the immediate focus of the new government will be in implementing the promises outlined in the BJP manifesto and the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to agency, Singh highlighted that the first cabinet’s foremost challenge is to translate the promises made in their party’s manifesto into actionable initiatives. He underscored the significance of prioritizing the guarantees put forth by Prime Minister Modi and the commitments made by the BJP.
Singh said that it will be the priority and foremost responsibility of whoever becomes the chief minister and the cabinet to address these pledges promptly as the government assumes its responsibilities.The BJP after five years is all prepared to form its government in the state with a comfortable majority. The party secured 54 seats in the assembly election wresting power from the Congress. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel tendered his resignation to the governor after the defeat of his party in the election.
