After registering huge victory from Cantt. Assembly in the recently held Legislative Assembly elections, Ashok Rohani of Bharatiya Janata Party along with hundereds of party workers and supporters took out victory rally, on Tuesday. Rohani has defeated his arch rival congress party candidate by a huge margin of 30,045 votes. Rohani conducted the rally on important thoroughfares of the Assembly. The rally commenced at 11 am from Mukherjee chowk Maanegaon and passed through Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Fuhara Chowk, Durga Mandir, Bada Patthar, J P Memorial School, Bajrang Nagar, Kishan Hotel, Mastana Chowk, Bapu Nagar, Moni crossing, Ranjhi Chowk, Darshan Singh square, Vehicle crossing, Sharda Nagar, Mehendi Bagh, Ganesh Chowk and all the lanes of Sadar.

During the rally, Rohani expressed gratitude to the residents of the Cantt. Assembly.

 

He stated that he would forever remain grateful to the divine-like people of Cantt. Assembly and thanked them for entrusting him with their invaluable votes. He also pledged to be dedicated to serving everyone round the clock. People of the Assembly placed a number of platforms to welcome the Rohani. People received Rohani by garlanding him and presenting bouquet. They also shower flower petals on him and congratulated him for the victory. Among those participated in the meeting were Sachin Jain, Savitri Shah, Pushparaj Sengar, Dashrath Patel, Sanjay Kapoor, Neelendra Chaterjee, Rajesh Shrivas, Ajit Choudhary, Nandlal Mahobia, Seema Lodhi, Suresh Patel, Satish Kushwaha, Vikas Rajak and others.
