The Ablighi Ijtema began in city on Friday with gathering of Muslim community. There are around one thousand Muslim scholars to discuss the religious topic. Large number of people continued to visit the Ijtema place till late Friday evening. People have come from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Bihar, Nagpur, Gujarat, Mumbai, Maharashtra, UP, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Nepal, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Mewat, Rajasthan, Delhi, etc. There are various blocks made on Ijtema place for people coming from various districts. There are around 20,000 volunteers working for the food arrangement, lodging, cleanliness, parking and other arrangement.
 
Besides, scholars from Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, South Africa, Canada, America, Britain, etc countries have come to attend the biggest Muslim congregation. Pandals are decked up in 300 acre area where Jamats are staying up. Eateries tent, drinking water, fire brigade, ambulance etc arrangements have been made for safety of gathering. Railways has also arranged special trains and district administration has arranged buses, local transportation and safety measures around the Eitkhedi. There are 80 food zone where people get tea, breakfast, food at cheaper price. People can get food for Rs 60 per plate, breakfast for Rs 20 and tea for Rs 5.
