CHHATTISGARH cadre 2008 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Niraj Kumar Bansod has been appointed as Private Secretary to Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Niraj Kumar Bansod as the Private Secretary of Amit Shah. In this regard, Deputy Secretary to the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India Pooja Jain has issued an order on Thursday.

According to the order, the appointment of Niraj Kumar Bansod as the Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation in the Ministry of Co-operation at the level of Director for a period upto August 29, 2027 with effect from the date of assuming the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister to till he ceases to function as the Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest
