Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan flagged off the Champions Rally from Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday evening before the closing ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games. Union Minister of State for Sports, Youth Affairs and Home Affairs, Nishith Pramanik, Sports Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Yashodhara Raje Scindia and Padma Shri, Khel Ratna awardee and Olympian shooter, Gagan Narang were present. The players took part enthusiastically in this rally. Principal Secretary, Sports, Deepti Gaur Mukherjee and Sports Director Ravi Gupta were also present while flagging off the rally. Padma Shri Olympian shooter Gagan Narang said that Chief Minister Chouhan has organised Khelo India in the best possible way. Madhya Pradesh has set a benchmark in organising the best ever Khelo India Games. We can make the Olympic dream come true. The players and youth present here today are fortunate to have seen this first stage. Narang extended best wishes to the Madhya Pradesh Government and the players. He flagged off the Champions Parade along with Chief Minister Chouhan.
CM and Sports Minister took part in the Hindustan Ka Dil Dhadka Do song: Chief Minister Chouhan flagged off the Champions Rally and the special bus. Various artists performed with the bus. RJ Anadi conducted the programme. Bikers, break dancers and cyclists performed at the event. A dance performance was given on the Khelo India Games anthem Hindustan Ka Dil Dhadka Do. Chief Minister Chouhan, Union Minister of State for Sports Pramanik, Madhya Pradesh Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia also participated collectively in the song.
