Balaghat police recover 6.148 kg ganja from two drug peddlers

 

 

 

Kotwali police notched major success by recovering a big haul of ganja in the town. Under direction of SP Sameer Saurabh and ASP Vijay Dabar, CSP Balaghat Anjul Ayank Mishra was carrying out intensive drive against the drug peddlers. Acting on an input, on intervening night of February 14 and February 15 about illegal transportation of Ganja, Kotwali police took immediate action. Team reached near Sarika bypass road and caught hold of two drug peddlers , as informed by the informers. One managed to flee.

Police recovered from them 6.148 kg of ganja worth RS 1,20,000, one bike without number plate, two mobile phone. The two accused work under Section 8/ 20, 29 NDPS Act. The arrested accuse are Narendra son of Brijlal, resident of Vidisha, Abhishek Namdev, age 19 years, resident of Raisen. Vishal Rajput resident of Vidisha is absconding.

The team which recovered this all included SHO Kamal Singh Gahlot, SI Radheshyam Dangi, SI Virendra Dhaakad, Sirohi Singh Dhurve, ASI Raju Singh Dahiya, Prabhu Dayal Kanthode and others. SP has announced to award this team.
