IIA, Nagpur to hold ‘Rachana 2023’ from 17th

The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Nagpur Centre will be organising the Rachana 2023 exposition of building and interior designing materials at Ladies Club Lawn, Civil Lines from February 17 to 20. This was revealed by Ar Sujit Rodge, Convenor of Rachana 2023 in a press conference here on Wednesday. Architech (Ar) Aniket Khodwe, Joint Secretary, Ar Rajesh Kakde, Treasurer, Ar Raviraj Sarwate, Chairman of IIA, Nagpur Centre, Ar Rahul Dandekar, Co-convenor of Rachana 2023 and Neha Jaipuriya, Joint Secretary were also present.
Rodge further said that the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the Rachana 2023 at 12.30 pm on February 17. The timings for architects and professional will be from 11 am to 1 am and for the visitors up to 9 pm. There will be 100 stalls, free entry and parking facilities at the venue.
Ar Sarwate informed that the IIA, Nagpur Centre was formed on August 26, 1973 and has completed 50 years. Also, the Nagpur Centre has been organising Rachana since 1988 and will be celebrating Rachana in its ‘Golden Jubilee Year’. On the occasion, the ‘Rachana 2023 App QR Code’ was launched to provide detailed information about the stalls, contact numbers and product details for reference.
Apart from this, the IIA Nagpur Centre will be conducting 7 workshops for the visitors. All participants will have to register beforehand using the Rachana App QR Code. Also, the exposition will display a ‘History Wall’ showcasing all the Nagpur Centre members who have contributed to organising the Rachana from the beginning. About 50 renown architects from across Maharashtra will visit the exposition. Ar Habeeb Khan will be the chief guest at the valedictory programme on February 20 at 5.30 pm.
