POLICE registered offence against two for illegal plotting after the complaint lodged by Zonal Commissioner of Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC). In the matter Supela police have registered offence against the accused under Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act and are further investigating the matter.
Police sources informed that in the complaint Rajendra Nayak, Zonal Commissioner, Bhilai Municipal Corporation, Bhilai has named the accused as Narayan Kumar and Hilendra Kumar, both residents of Kohka, Bhilai. The police said that as per complainant the illegal plotting came to fore during routine inspection and subsequent verification in the matter. The police said that the accused allegedly indulged in criminal acts of illegal plotting without getting passed the layout and also without obtaining colonizer license. The police also said that it is mandatory when the land owners themselves or with someone else or with firm opt for construction of the colony. Acting into the matter police have registered the offence against the accused under section 295 (C) of Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act. The police are further investigating to ascertain finally criminal charges.
Durgesh Sharma, Station House Officer, Supela Police Station informed that the police have already registered the offence in the matter following the complaint, based on corporation office records and due verification. The police will initiate further legal action in the matter following verification of facts in coordination with the agencies concerned.
