Admn raids Lisztomania club at Bhilai, finds irregularities

 

 

 

A joint team from the District Administration on Saturday night conducted raid in Lisztomania Bar and Club and found various irregularities. The team led by Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Durg found violations related to licensing and permission besides various other irregularities following which the club was closed till further orders. The department concerned involved in the raid has also collected samples of food from the club which have been sent to State Food Testing Laboratory.

Sources informed that the officials from Food and Drug Administration; Revenue, Police and Excise Department led by SDM Lakshman Tiwari raided Lisztomania Bar and Club situated on the third floor of Surya Mall at Junwani. The team reportedly found during the inspection that the food items including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were kept together in a same container while empty bottles of liquor in excess quantity besides filth was found on the roof. Despite the fact that the club was given permit for opening only one counter, another counter was illegally being run by it in different floor. Total 47 persons were found employed in the club despite the fact that only one of its employees was having work permission against the total 7 permits issued. Sources said that the club also failed in furnishing the Gumasta license despite repeatedly being asked for the same while various other irregularities including no police verification of staff, illegal sale of cigarette from counter and violations related to license of FSSI and amusement for using DJ was also found. The officials prepared a ‘Panchnama’ and the keys were taken by the Food and Durg Administration Department.
