Outgoing Governor Anusuiya Uikey was given farewell by officials and employees of Raj Bhavan Secretariat on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Anusuiya Uikey recalled various moments of her tenure and expressed her gratitude for the cooperation of the Raj Bhavan family. Uikey said that working as the Governor of Chhattisgarh was an unforgettable moment for her. She said that a large number of people from Surguja to Bastar had come to meet her with their grievances and she had made every possible effort to solve their problems. Uikey said that during her tenure, continuous efforts were made by her to establish Raj Bhavan as Jan Bhavan. For this, she also underlined the cooperation of the Raj Bhavan family. Speaking about the art, tradition and culture of Chhattisgarh, Anusuiya Uikey described it as a priceless specialty of Chhattisgarh. The people of Chhattisgarh are very straightforward and simple and this gives a special identity to the people here, she added. Uikey also expressed gratitude for the love and respect received by all the tribal communities including the people of the state. Along with this, Uikey urged all the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan to cooperate with the new Governor of Chhattisgarh in the interest of the public. Secretary to Governor Amrit Kumar Xalxo, Legal Advisor to Chief Minister Rajesh Shrivastava, Deputy Secretary to Governor Deepak Agrawal, ADCs Vivek Shukla, Major Siddharth Singh, controller Harbansh Miri and Private Secretary to Governor Jitendra Solanki also addressed the programme and recalled the tenure of Uikey.
