The Hitavada’s Aastha gets Maya Shukla Memorial Female Journalist Award

Saluting the essence of true journalism, ‘Arunoday Samaroh’ was organised by offering honour and awards among best of the selected journalists and aganwadi workers working to ensure bright future of Sanskardhani.
‘The Hitavada’ Scribe, Aastha Beohar Keshri was presented with Maya Shukla Memorial Female Journalist Award for her excellent contribution in journalism field. The programme was organised at Arunoday Yashbharat, Shatabdipuram on Monday, during which Journalist Arun Shukla Memorial Journalism Award, Maya Shukla Memorial Female Journalist and Sushila Shukla Memorial Best Aganwadi Worker Award were bestowed among the best journalist and aganwadi workers. They received shawl, shreephal, Memento and cash rewards. Presence of Dr Munishchar Chandra Dawar, recently selected for the prestigious Padam Shri award, added further dignity to the event. Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Vivek Krishna Tankha, Mayor, Jagat Bhadur Singh, City President, Bhartiya Janta Party, Prabhat Sahu, Collector, Saurabh Kumar Suman, Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna, Vice-chancellor, JNAU, Dr Pramod Kumar Mishra, Vice-chancellor, RDU, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra and Vice-chancellor, NDVSU, Dr. SP Tiwari shared the dais.
It may be mentioned that February 20 is marked as birth anniversary and death anniversary of Pandit Arun Shukla.
Other journalists who were awarded for their impressive media coverage include Sacchidanand Shekhatkar from Jailok who received Arun Shukla Smriti Varishth Patrakarita Samman-2022, Sudheer Shrivas from Dainik Bhaskar, Virendra Rajak from Patrika, Neeraj Upadhayay from Yash Bharat and Amit Soni from Nai Duniya and ANI’s Rakesh Shrivas. Two best aganwadi workers Nidhi Thakur and Neetu Kewat from Department of Woman and Child Development, were honoured in memory of Sushila Shukla. Head of organising committee, Ashish Shukla informed that the journalists have been selected by the selection committee including Ravindra Vajpayee from Hindi Express, Pankaj Shukla from Dainik Bhaskar, Rajendra Gaharwar from Patrika, Jitendra Richariya from Nai Duniya and Editorial Incharge Yash Bharat, Praveen Agrahari.
