Biswa Bhusan Harichandan has taken the oath as ninth Governor of Chhattisgarh at Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan on Thursday. Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court Justice Arup Kumar Goswami administered the oath to Biswa Bhusan Harichandan as the Governor of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Speaker Charandas Mahant, First lady of Suprabha Harichandan, former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel, Cabinet Ministers, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja and other senior officers were present. After the swearing-in-ceremony, Baghel and Chief Justice Goswami, other officials and dignitaries congratulated the new Governor.
