Be focused to build global business from India: R Ramakrishnan

 

 

CA R Ramakrishnan, Chairman of aXYKno Capital, Eartha and Mackintosh said that an entrepreneur should focus on one domain and specialise in that area to build global business from India. Ramakrishnan was speaking at the session ‘Building a global business from India’ at the entrepreneurs’ conference ‘TIEcon Central India 2023’ organised by TiE Nagpur at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Wathoda on Friday.

Shashank Garg, Co-Founder and CEO of Infocepts and Vishnu Tambi, Co-Founder and CEO of Excellon Software were the other speakers of the session. CA Tejinder Singh Rawal of TS Rawal and Co moderated the session.

Ramakrishnan shared his entrepreneur journey and the challenges he faced. In the beginning, he decided to specialise in transportation domain, and as the business grew, he offered specialised products and services to companies operating in other countries. In this way, Ramakrishnan built his business from India and went global.

Shashank Garg, also shared his entrepreneur journey. As an entrepreneur started his data centre in Nagpur by capitalising on human resources available in the Nagpur. In the beginning he focused and planned products for the Indian market and then scaled up to the global market. Vishnu Tambi said that entrepreneurs should make globalisation part of their company from the beginning and define global expansion strategy.
